Jump on board with the Glenbrook Vintage Railway on some of the first public trips behind steam locomotive Ww 644!
Ww 644 - Built at Dunedin's Hillside Workshops in 1915 was comprehensively overhauled between 2018 and 2022 by the team of volunteers and staff at the Glenbrook Vintage Railway's Pukeoware Workshops.
After a sell-out series of trips in October 2022 - steam once again returns to the Waikato!
We are also offering a popular diesel hauled day trip along the Main Trunk Line to Ohakune and return.
So hop on board as we step back in time – to how rail travel used to be – and experience a heritage train journey on the mainline!
